FFP2 mask requirement indoors - skiing also partially affected
In Austria, there is now a general FFP2 mask requirement again due to the current circumstances. The new measures apply in all closed rooms. As a result, the FFP2 mask also partially returns when skiing. The following areas are currently affected:
- Public transport (ski bus)
- Gondolas (chairlifts are excluded during the ride)
- Lift station building, queuing area, toilet facilities
- Gastronomy (on the way to the campsite)
New rules for after-gastronomy
New measures also apply to meetings in closed rooms of 100 or more people. Here the operators are free to introduce an FFP2 mask requirement or a 3G check. If there is a 3-G control, you need a 3-G proof to enter the night gastronomy (3-G: vaccinated, recovered or tested). This regulation also applies to après-ski night gastronomy.
