Cycling goggles provide optimal protection against UV rays, wind, dust and insects
The most important task of cycling glasses is of course one thing above all: protecting the eyes. The high-quality lenses of the cycling glasses ensure that harmful UVA, UVB and UVC rays are filtered and do not reach the eyes. It also repels dust, insects, branches and stones. The magnetic sweatband protects the eyes from the wind. The wide field of vision gives you the best view while riding and you can fully concentrate on cycling. Whether on demanding trails, racing bike routes, enduro tours or leisurely rides in the city - the bike glasses are a must-have for all cyclists.
Bike glasses with interchangeable lenses
For the best view in all lighting and weather conditions, there are various interchangeable lenses with different light transmission rates (VLT). Depending on the external conditions, you can choose the right glass. The respective light transmission (VLT) can be seen from the category (CAT. 0 to CAT. 4). The higher the VLT% value, the more light comes through the lens and the lighter the tint (CAT. 0 to CAT. 1). This is especially important when driving in the woods, on enduro tours or on dull days to see the tracks as good as possible. On the other hand, the lower the VLT % value, the less light passes through the glass. These are glasses with categories 2 to 4 (CAT. 2 to CAT. 4). Due to the darker tint, they are ideal for demanding road bike rides in the sun and leisurely bike tours through the city. If the conditions change suddenly while driving, the glasses can be replaced in no time. Thanks to the interchangeable lenses, you are equipped for all lighting and weather conditions.
MTB glasses with polarized lenses
MTB goggles for men and women have another function in addition to light transmission (CAT. 0 to CAT. 4) and UV protection: polarization . Polarized cycling glasses reduce annoying and irritating reflections. This allows you to estimate the route better and recognize contours more quickly. Other advantages of polarized cycling glasses are that we see colors more intensively and our eyes tire more slowly. However, caution is required when reading LC displays on smartphones or wristwatches and dashboards in the car. A disadvantage of polarized lenses is that it is more difficult to read displays and, for example, bike computers. High functionality and pleasant wearing comfort when cycling
It doesn't matter whether you're riding a racing bike or an enduro tour - the cycling glasses should above all ensure that they are comfortable to wear, even on long journeys. High-quality frame materials are used for this in order to meet even the highest sporting demands. In addition, rubberized temple ends and a rubberized nose bridge help to prevent uncomfortable pressure when biking. Optionally, straps (retainers) can be attached to the cycling glasses so that the glasses stay where they belong to. Magnetic sweatbands are also particularly pleasant when driving. This absorbs the excess sweat and protects the eyes from unpleasant drafts.
