Whether you're cruising at high speed on smooth asphalt or exploring the landscape on endless gravel routes – anyone who gives their all on a road bike needs a road bike or gravel helmet that fits properly and protects. That's why we're introducing you to our newest addition to our range: The DRAFT – our brand-new road bike helmet.

Developed for maximum safety, first-class comfort, and an aerodynamic design that excels both on the road and on rough surfaces. But no matter how stylish a helmet looks, the right fit is crucial. Only if the helmet fits perfectly can it reliably protect you. We'll show you what's important – and how to easily find the right size for you.

Which helmet size is right for you?

The Draft helmet is available in two adjustable sizes, each based on your head circumference in centimeters. Finding the right size is easy – all you need is a tape measure. Place it about 1 cm above your eyebrows. Guide the tape straight and tightly over your ears and the back of your head. The measured circumference in centimeters is your helmet size.

How to make your helmet fit perfectly

A helmet should neither pinch nor wobble – it should almost feel like a part of you. Therefore, it is essential to adjust the helmet correctly first. Start at the back of the helmet. This is where the adjustment system is located, which can be adjusted to three height levels. Choose the setting that best fits the back of your head – without pressing, of course.

Then put the helmet on loosely. You can now individually adjust the helmet to your head shape using the adjustment wheel on the back. Adjust the straps on the left and right. You can adjust the front and back straps independently using the fastening hinge – depending on how your ears sit. The chin strap should be snug, but still allow you enough room to speak.

A good way to test whether the helmet fits correctly is to shake your head. The helmet fits if it doesn't wobble or slip.

Which glasses fit your helmet?

At high speed, every detail counts – including your equipment. That's why it's crucial that your helmet and cycling glasses work together perfectly. Our NAKED Optics glasses are designed to work perfectly with the new The Draft. Here's an overview of which glasses are best suited to your new helmet:
