Which Women's Ski Goggles Fit Your Face?

Our ski goggles are available in different fits. All models are unisex, but what really matters is the size, not the category.

Size XS: The TROOP YOUTH

Designed specifically for particularly narrow faces, The TROOP YOUTH is our smallest ski goggle model. The simple pin system makes changing the goggle lenses easy.

Size S/M: The SOLAR

A compact fit designed for smaller and narrower faces. If larger ski goggles put pressure on your nose or cheekbones, this is the model for you.

Size M: The TROOP EVO

The TROOP EVO features a frameless design for a clean, minimalist look.

Size M/L: The NOVA, The STORM

A wider field of vision with a modern oversized fit. The STORM features a spherical lens, while The NOVA has a cylindrical lens.

Our larger ski goggle models feature the SnapTech magnetic lens changing system, anti-fog coating, and UV400 protection.

What to look for when trying them on:

  • There should be no gap between the goggles and your helmet, otherwise cold air can reach your forehead.

  • The goggles shouldn't put pressure on your temples or extend too far beyond the sides of your face.

  • The lens should match the light conditions you usually ski in.

Mirrored Ski Goggles for Women: When Are They Worth It?

On snowy slopes, sunlight reaches your eyes from two directions: directly from above and reflected from the snow below. Mirrored ski goggles for women reflect some of this light before it reaches your eyes. This helps reduce squinting and eye fatigue while making it easier to spot bumps in the terrain.

However, the key factor isn't the mirrored coating itself, but the VLT value, which indicates how much light passes through the lens. The sunnier the conditions, the less light your lens should let through. Choose Cat. 3 or Cat. 4 for bright, sunny days and Cat. 1 for fog and snowfall.

Ski goggles for women who wear glasses

Anyone who wears prescription glasses in everyday life also needs a suitable solution for winter sports. If you're looking for women's ski goggles as a glasses wearer, we offer so-called OTG (Over the Glasses) models. Thanks to special cut-outs in the foam padding, The TROOP EVO and The STORM can be worn comfortably over prescription glasses, provided the frame is no wider than 14 cm. Alternatively, you can use an optical insert. This is a small clip fitted with your prescription by an optician and easily attached behind the main lens of the ski goggles.

Women's Ski Goggles with Interchangeable Lenses: One Lens for Every Weather Condition

Mountain weather can change faster than you'd like. With the SnapTech magnetic lens changing system, you can swap lenses in seconds: take off your goggles, remove the lens, snap on a new one. Et voilà.

You can also change the strap. Handy when you get a new helmet and your old strap no longer matches the color. Available for The TROOP EVO, The STORM, The NOVA and The SOLAR.

Which women's ski goggles are best for a narrow face?

The SOLAR has a more compact fit than our other models and doesn't extend beyond your temples. If larger ski goggles have previously stuck out at the sides or caused uncomfortable pressure, this is the right choice for you. For particularly narrow faces, we recommend our The TROOP YOUTH ski goggles.

When are mirrored ski goggles for women worth it?

On bright days. The mirrored coating reduces the amount of light passing through the lens, helping to reduce eye strain. Choose Cat. 3 or Cat. 4 for bright sunshine and glacier skiing, and Cat. 1 for fog and snowfall.

What does the VLT value mean for ski goggles?

VLT stands for Visible Light Transmission and indicates how much light passes through the lens. A low VLT value lets less light through and is ideal for sunny conditions, while a high VLT value allows more light through and is better suited for foggy conditions. The filter categories Cat. 1 to Cat. 4 summarize these differences.

Are your women's ski goggles designed differently from your men's models?

No. All our ski goggles are unisex. The only difference is the size: The SOLAR has a narrower fit, while The NOVA has a particularly large fit. Choose the model that fits your face best.

Do your ski goggles fit with every helmet?

Our models are compatible with all common ski helmets. The important thing is that the top edge of the goggles sits flush against the helmet, leaving no gap. We show you which combinations work well in this test.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping is free within Austria and Germany on orders of €100 or more. If the goggles don't fit, you have 30 days to return them.
