    Fit optimization through smart technology

    The front frame of the SHYFT sports glasses is produced using high-precision 3D printing in Austria. After your face scan, the perfect frame width is determined and individually manufactured and assembled just for you.

    Attention: Due to individual production, your SHYFT sports glasses have a longer delivery time of 7–10 working days.

    To make individually customized sports glasses possible, we have completely rethought our production process and brought parts of the manufacturing back to Austria.

    First, your facial width is scanned via our website (using only your laptop or smartphone webcam – no additional apps required). The collected data is analyzed and converted into the ideal frame size. Your frame is then individually 3D-printed in Austria by our production partner VOXEL4You using Multi Jet Fusion (MJF). Depending on the color variant, the glasses are further refined, assembled with your chosen lens, and shipped directly to you.

    The SHYFT introduces many new and innovative features while still relying on proven NAKED technologies. Interchangeable lenses in various categories allow you to adapt the tint to current light conditions. This way, you always maintain clear vision—whether in fog or bright sunshine.

    FAQ – What you need to know about the new SHYFT sports glasses

    You can easily scan your face directly on our website—no additional app download required. During the scan, your facial width is measured. Based on this information, the ideal frame width for your sports glasses is automatically selected and sent to our 3D printing partner for production.

    Using Multi Jet Fusion (MJF). In this powder bed process, fine plastic powder (e.g. PA12/nylon) is applied layer by layer. Print heads then selectively deposit fusing agents onto the areas that need to be bonded.

    MJF technology enables high detail resolution, smooth surface quality, and relatively fast printing speeds compared to similar powder-based processes.

    The material PA12 is a technical nylon polymer with excellent mechanical properties, chemical resistance, and is suitable for high-end products, toys, or in our case, sports glasses.

    The frame of the SHYFT sports glasses is individually 3D printed in Austria based on your facial width upon order. Since the process of printing, curing, and post-processing takes several days, the delivery time is extended to 7–10 working days.

    For the SHYFT sports glasses, we offer interchangeable lenses in 5 different categories. These range from very bright CAT.0 to CAT.4 with particularly dark tint. Here you can learn more about how these lens categories are calculated.
