In the NAKED Optics online shop, we offer various models of sports sunglasses. But what’s the difference between The HAWK, The FALCON, The VOLT, and The BLADE? We’ll explain everything you need to know about the different features, what sets each model apart, and what you should consider when buying a new pair of sports sunglasses.
These Features Are a Must-Have
Even though our sunglasses differ in some areas, they also share several practical features that you simply won’t want to miss. All our sports eyewear models come with adjustable, rubberized nose pads, allowing every wearer to customize the fit for maximum comfort. Additional rubber grips on the temples ensure that the glasses sit comfortably and stay in place without slipping. Thanks to an easy exchange system, the lenses can be swapped in just seconds. Five different lens categories ensure optimal visibility in any weather condition. All our lenses are equipped with UV-400 protection, effectively blocking harmful rays before they can reach your eyes. The frames are made from 50% of our sustainable CO₂RE® plastic blend, derived from castor plants. Despite all these shared features, each model also comes with its own unique highlights.
The all-rounder The Falcon

Our sports glasses The FALCON are a real all -rounder. In addition to the practical interchangeable lenses for any weather condition, this model offers much more. Included in the package is a magnetic sweatband, which can be attached to the top of the frame and prevents sweat from dripping into your eyes. As another handy accessory, an adjustable retainer can be attached to the arms of the glasses, providing even better hold during your sports activities.
To get even more out of your FALCON sports glasses, you can upgrade them with the Goggle Upgrade accessory, transforming them into a lightweight ski goggle. This involves replacing the arms with a wide elastic band and adding a foam seal around the frame.
Small but Mighty: The HAWK
The model The HAWK offers all features of The FALCON sports glasses, but the glasses frame is significantly smaller and so optimal for everyone, with smaller face features. In addition to the magnetic sweatband and practical retainer, another accessory is available for these glasses: the optical insert clip. You can have this clip fitted by an optician, who will adjust it to match the prescription lenses. Once fitted, the clip is placed on the nose bridge, allowing you to easily convert your sports glasses into prescription eyewear.
A real eye-catcher the VOLT
The frame of the VOLT is made up of two separate pieces, allowing for personalized configuration. The upper part of the frame can be paired with many colorful lower frame pieces, called "Jaws." This creates the possibility of 450 unique combinations.
The BLADE Brings a Fresh Breeze
Our latest model The BLADE impresses with an improved ventilation system. Two vents in the lens allow warm air from the face to circulate outwards while preventing any annoying headwind from getting in. This design prevents the glasses from fogging up during sports activities. The BLADE is slimmer than its larger counterpart, The VOLT, making it ideal for those with smaller faces who prefer a more fitted look over an oversized style.
