Do you have NAKED Optics sports glasses but are unsure which model you own? No problem. You can easily find out your sports glasses model – either by the shape of the glasses or by the SU number on the inside of the temple.

In this post, we'll show you step-by-step how to identify your NAKED Optics sports glasses and what to look out for.

Why is it important to know your sports glasses model?

If you are looking for replacement lenses, accessories, or a new model, it is important to know exactly which sports glasses you have. NAKED Optics' various models differ in their frame shape, fit, and lens shape. To find the right replacement lens or suitable accessories, you should first clearly determine your model.

Identify sports glasses: How to find your model

There are two easy ways to find out your NAKED Optics sports glasses model:

  1. You compare the shape of your glasses with the different sports glasses models.
  2. You look for the SU number on the inside of the temple.

Identification is usually quickest via the SU number.

Where can I find the SU number of my sports glasses?

You will find the SU number on the inside of the temple of your sports glasses. It consists of several numbers. The first three numbers are crucial, as they indicate which model it is.

The remaining numbers describe the respective frame color.

An example:
If your SU number starts with 203, it is the model The VOLT. The other numbers then indicate the frame color of your glasses.

What do the first three digits of the SU number mean?

The first three digits of your SU number directly tell you which sports glasses model you have:

SU number starts with

Model

205…

The SHYFT

204…

The BLADE

203…

The VOLT

202…

The HAWK

201…

The FALCON

So, if you just want to quickly know which model you own, a glance at the first three numbers is usually enough.

Important: "CORE" is not a glasses model

You might have also seen the term CORE on the inside of the temple. However, this is not the name of your sports glasses model.

CORE merely describes the bio-plastic compound used for the frame. So if you are looking for glasses called "Core", you will not find them as a separate model in our range.

Therefore, always pay attention to the SU number or the shape of the glasses to determine your actual model.

Recognizing the model by the shape of the glasses

If you can no longer read the SU number or are not entirely sure despite the number, you can also determine your model by the shape of the sports glasses.

Each NAKED Optics sports glasses model has its own shape and differs slightly in frame, lens, and overall look. Therefore, it is best to compare your glasses directly with the overview of all sports glasses models.

Looking at the different lens shapes is particularly helpful. You can compare these in the last image. This makes it even easier to recognize whether you own, for example, The VOLT, The BLADE, The HAWK, The FALCON, or The SHYFT.

Conclusion: Quickly identify your sports glasses model

The easiest way to find out your NAKED Optics sports glasses model is by the SU number on the inside of the temple. The first three numbers will directly tell you which model you have. Alternatively, you can compare the shape of your glasses with the model overview.

If you are still unsure after comparing the SU number, additionally compare your glasses with the different frame and lens shapes in the overview.
