In October 2026, the Salzburg Regionality Award was presented for the 17th time. Every year, RegionalMedien Salzburg honours people, companies and initiatives that make a special contribution to the development of Salzburg through innovative ideas, sustainable commitment and regional responsibility. Projects were recognised across a total of ten categories, showcasing just how diverse and future-oriented the region is.
NAKED Optics took first place in the “Business Innovation” category with The SHYFT!
The innovative sports glasses The SHYFT set new standards in terms of customisation and comfort. With the help of a digital facial scan, the glasses are precisely adapted to the individual width of the wearer’s face. The frame is then 3D-printed by regional partner Voxel4You in Puch bei Hallein. In this way, The SHYFT combines cutting-edge technology with regional production and demonstrates that individually fitted sports glasses no longer have to be a luxury. This award not only recognises the innovative strength of NAKED Optics, but also its vision of creating sports glasses that fit every head.
