1. Be smart with your travel dates - travel in the off-season!

You are really looking for a nice ski experience, perfect slopes and a lot of different possibilities? So, don’t spend too much money for your accommodation. Choose a nice resort in the pre-season, which gives you access to uncrowded slopes and shorter lift queues.

Hotels and ski passes are much cheaper in pre-season. Christmas and February half term will be especially expensive whereas the period before Christmas and most of January and March will be a lot cheaper. You’ll be out on those slopes all day and enjoying the après-ski at night, so why spend a fortune on your accommodation? Save 20% and more in pre-and off-season on ski pass prices!

HIGH SEASON PERIODS in the Alps 2018/19:

  • 23.12.2018 - 06.01.2019
  • 03.02.2019 - 16.03.2019

2. Choose the right accommodation!

It may seem obvious, but one of the easiest ways to save is to choose your accommodation with a realistic budget firmly in mind. If you are a small group of people, it’s very recommendable to stay in a small apartment in the ski region.
Don’t forget to bring your sandwich or other meals to the mountain. Ski huts are very expensive and always remember, there is still the après ski part where you will spend some money.

Book your apartment on airbnb.com and get your best deals!
If you are looking for a package (skipass+hotel) you will find definitely something on www.snowtrex.de

Skipass + 2 nights for less then 180,00 €
So you will have some extra money for the best part of a ski day!

3. Après Ski is life!

Be smart and choose the right ski area for best parties after your ski day!
There is nothing nicer than ending the day with a “Glühwein” or taking down some shots & liquors (whatever floats your boat).
Après Ski may can blast your budget! So either drink a few glases in your apartment first, or even better bring a "Flachmann" onto the mountain!

So now the only questions which remains is: "Where should you go?"
Based on a new survey of about 47.000 wintersport enthusiastic people the results for 2018 look like this:
